Frequently Asked

Why is my song approved but not available on
TikTok, Snapchat or social platforms?

Your release has been successfully approved and delivered to major streaming platforms. However, distribution to social platforms such as TikTok, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook follows additional eligibility requirements that go beyond standard streaming approval. This is completely normal and does not reflect on the quality of your music.

Streaming Platforms

These platforms accept a broader range of licensed content and have a more straightforward approval process.

Spotify Apple Music Boomplay Audiomack Deezer
UGC & CID Platforms

These platforms enforce stricter ownership, originality and monetization requirements before accepting content.

Common Reasons
01
©️
Ownership & Rights Issues
Why this happens

UGC platforms require that you hold 100% exclusive ownership of every element in your release — including the beat, melody, lyrics and any additional sounds. Shared or partially-owned content is automatically flagged.

How to fix it

Use only original or exclusively licensed instrumentals and sounds. Ensure you have written documentation of full ownership before resubmitting.

Submit only 100% owned content

🎹
Non-Exclusive or Leased Beats
Why this happens

Leased beats are sold to multiple artists simultaneously. Because the same instrumental already exists under different releases, UGC and Content ID platforms cannot safely assign ownership to a single artist and will reject the submission.

How to fix it

Purchase an exclusive license for your instrumental, or work with a producer to create a beat specifically for your release that no one else has access to.

Use exclusive instrumentals only

AI-Generated or Low Originality Content
Why this happens

Platforms are increasingly detecting AI-generated audio, repetitive loops and content with very low creative originality. TikTok and similar platforms prioritize music that adds genuine artistic value for their creator community.

How to fix it

Ensure your music is uniquely and creatively produced with original artistic input. If AI tools were used as part of your process, your final output should still demonstrate clear human artistry and originality.

Ensure genuine creative originality
04
Copyright & Content ID Conflicts
Why this happens

If another party has already claimed ownership of the same audio — or a portion of it — through Content ID or a rights organization, this creates a conflict. The platforms cannot resolve competing ownership claims and will block the content from their CID system.

How to fix it

Avoid using uncleared samples, interpolations or any portion of copyrighted recordings. If a conflict exists, you must formally clear all rights before resubmitting.

Platform-Specific Restrictions
Why this happens

Each social platform operates its own content policies independently of streaming services. Some platforms only accept music that can be safely and exclusively monetized — meaning they run their own background checks on ownership, originality and prior claims before granting access.

How to fix it

Ensure your release is fully compliant — 100% original, exclusively owned, and free from any prior claims or conflicts. Review the platform's current content guidelines before resubmitting.

Ensure full ownership and compliance
⚠️
Important Note

This does not mean your song has been rejected from 444Music or from streaming platforms. It simply means your release does not currently meet the additional eligibility requirements set by social media distribution platforms. Your music remains live on all approved stores.

Ready to resubmit? If you believe your release now meets all the requirements listed above — original content, exclusive ownership and no copyright conflicts — you're welcome to update your release details and resubmit for review.
